Housing Appreciation Rates


The Seattle metropolitan region led all other regions in the most recent 12-month period with an housing appreciation rate of 11.84 percent; Pittsburgh ranked fourteenth at 3.95 percent, below the benchmark average of 6.38 percent. Pittsburgh’s ten-year appreciation rate, however, was the fourth-highest of all benchmark regions at 22.95 percent.
